Dance and Derby

Just daily life has been super busy. Paul is now traveling most weeks Monday through Thursday so he is away from home. Kara is super busy this time of year with cheering, dance, and this year the school play, which shows next week. Because she is so super busy she plays only a part in the ensemble but is having fun. Last Saturday she had a cheering competition in MA in the early afternoon and then had to travel back home to attend a performance for dance, a great fundraiser for the Autism Society. So here are a few pics from that performance. This is her competitive hiphop team and although they are a small group they are very talented. First official competition for them is this coming Saturday. Cant wait!

Nathan had his first Pinewood Derby with Cub Scouts earlier in the month. He and dad had a great time making and decorating the car, for those of you who dont know it just comes as a square block so there was some cutting, sanding, painting and decorating to do. Although he did not come in first for any of the races he did win first for best craftsmanship. Dont you love how Patrick is driving the car :)
