The local railroad sponsored "The Polar Express" so luckily the day we had tickets was the day the huge ice storm came to town. Even though we had no power at our house that day the train was still a go. So we went to the station at 4pm and got on the train, the ride was about 40 minutes, just a short ride along the coast, the crew read the story, served us hot cocoa and cookies and then after getting back we got a quick picture with Santa(which you had to buy, no cameras allowed, aren't the crafty in getting a few more bucks out of you...that is why you see no picture with Santa here)
We were one of the ones lucky enough that after the train ride and then dinner in the Old Port we drove home to hav our power restored only a few moments after arriving. Some people still had no power on Sunday.

Looks like a fun time, Jen! I'm so glad you got your power back quickly.
